A woman, who was forcibly tattooed, is getting them removed for free by Removery, with the help of TikTok user Karridy Askenasy.
Taylor, the survivor, plans to work in mental health care after removing the tattoos, leaving her painful past behind.
After having her face tattooed against her will, a woman is now finally having the ink removed owing to the generosity of a stranger.
At the time, Florida native Taylor White, then just 21 years old, was seeing a man who started off as a verbal and physical abuser but quickly escalated to both.
She woke up in the empty hotel room in excruciating pain, and though she has foggy memories of the previous evening, she feels as though she had been abused.
Taylor’s situation was made worse when she glanced in the mirror and saw that she had tattoos all over her face depicting “really horrible things.”
The former tattoo artist attempted to cover the inkings with concealer as she was still recovering from the assault.
She didn’t realize she couldn’t continue living like this until her supervisor noticed them peeking out from beneath her makeup.
She claimed the New York Post that he had informed her, “You you can’t live like this,” and had offered to cover the undesired body art in blackout ink so she could lead a “normal life.”
Taylor had employment rejections despite accepting his offer in 2008; nevertheless, a TikTok creator promised to assist her.
What’s more incredible is that TikToker TheDadBot accidentally came into her Livestream.
The creator, Karridy Askenasy, was moved by Taylor after hearing about her condition and viewing her videos.

“The trouble she was facing obviously had a personal effect on her,” he said in an interview with The New York Post.
Karridy added: “It was preventing her from doing the most good possible.”
He even made the offer to pay for the tattoo removal and contacted several hospitals for assistance with the laser treatment.
Amazingly, Removery, a company that uses lasers to remove tattoos, offered to conduct the procedure for free despite the fact that it normally costs several thousand dollars.
Taylor might be tattoo-free for up to two years, according to Removery’s vice president of clinical operations Carmen VanderHeiden Brodie, who also noted that Taylor was ‘smiling’ through her first session.
Taylor seems unfazed by this, though, and she now plans to work in mental health care after the removal.
The now 37-year-old said: “I’m not having it removed purely for cosmetic reasons.”
“This is really removing a part of me that I no longer represent or live in.”
