One thing I think we can all appreciate about a good joke is the fact that it doesn’t have to be based on something true.
In some cases, something that is more ridiculous is even better.
In the joke we have for you here, there are two men who are bored at work and they decide to do something that is off the charts stupid.
Nobody should have ever done it in real life but there is a reason why they did.
A joke doesn’t have to be true in order to be funny. Keep that in mind and appreciate the laugh that this humourous story will give you.
Carl and Dave are both workers at the Atlanta airport, typically working outside to re-fuel the planes after they land.
One day, a very thick fog rolls in grounding all of the planes. Carl and Dave are bored out of their minds with nothing to do.
“I’m really bored,” says Dave. “I wish we could get drunk or something.”
“We can,” responds Carl. “Did you know that if you drink jet fuel, it will get you wasted like regular booze?”
“Yeah?!” asked Dave.
“And the best part,” continued Carl, “is that there are no aftereffects. No hangover or nuthin.”
“Well, crap,” exclaims Dave, “pour me a drink.”
So our two legends spend the night getting absolutely hammered on jet fuel to the point of blacking out.
The next morning, Dave wakes up. He raises his head from the pillow expecting the worst. Surprisingly, he feels perfect! No hangover, nausea, nothing. He gets up and takes a few steps and doesn’t even feel lightheaded. He is shocked.
Suddenly his cell phone rings and it’s Carl.
Dave answer and says, “Hey man, this is amazing. I feel great. I can’t believe how much jet fuel we drank last night, but I feel awesome! That stuff is amazing!”
“Yeah man, I know… the stuff is awesome,” responds Carl. “but, there’s something I need to tell you.”
“Yeah?” responds Dave.
“Whatever you do, DON’T FART! I’m in Cleveland!”
