Mia, who goes by the handle @mia_yilin on TikTok, shared the video that apparently demonstrates hidden problems in ourselves.

She has about 455,000 followers, which goes to show how popular her shared tricks are.

The Optical Illusion On Self-Esteem

When this particular optical illusion was posted, the comment section was flooded with words from users from around the world. Most of them had a similar reaction of being able to relate to the analysis. Take a look at the illusion, and be sure to note what you see first:

The optical illusion-cum-fun personality test shows a picture of a woman made of stone. It seems like she is in deep thought. However, that’s only one of the possible images. Others have reported seeing a cluster of bright green trees growing from a rock. In the caption, Mia asked the question, “What’s the first thing you see in this picture?” So, here are the explanations:

The Cluster Of Trees: Mia explains that you are probably someone who likes to follow rules and abide by them. Regardless of whether someone notices you or not, you want to “do the right thing” since you also have a considerably large moral conscience. Unfortunately, this also means that often you go to extreme lengths, including self-sacrifice, to make the people around you happy. You don’t exactly like it either since sometimes you wish you could be a bit crueler.

Most of the users who left a comment on the optical illusion post reported seeing the image of the woman first. As such, quite a few felt “called out” and “personally attacked” since they found Mia’s explanation extremely relatable. For example, one user wrote, “I came here to relax, not get attacked.” Another one said: “Why you so accurate, sis?”

However, as with all personality tests, it’s only an indicator, and will not hold true for everyone. For example, one of the users commented: “Wrong… I saw the woman and I have a good relationship with myself. I’m quite confident within myself as I don’t need to prove my worth to others.”
