Family members often quarrel over the possessions of a relative who has died. At times, these disputes grow so severe that even the rightful heirs can’t reach a settlement.

A lady recounted her experience regarding her mother’s estate after she passed away.

She started by explaining her role in caring for her ill mother. “Mom was always my best friend, so naturally, I took care of her during her illness,” she noted.

While she devoted herself to her mother’s care, her selfish brother and aunts only appeared when they needed financial help.

“As my mother’s health continued to decline,” she added, “one of my aunts secretly reached out to her ‘friends’ to look for a new house, exploiting my mother’s real estate business.”

Sadly, her mother died.

The day the will was disclosed reminded her of a dramatic movie scene. Her brother, aunts, and her mother’s attorney gathered in the room.

Holding a worn teacup with weak tea, she listened as the attorney revealed a shocking decision. “My mother had decided to leave the $5 million she had saved to my brother and aunts. As I processed this news, I swallowed my tea, realizing I received nothing at all.”

As she grasped the harsh truth, tears formed in her eyes, ruining her makeup, while her brother and aunts could barely conceal their joy.
