Once upon a time, in a cozy little house in the suburban outskirts, old Jack decided it was time for a cleanup, getting rid of the unnecessary clutter. Among them was a worn-out fridge he had been using for years. Jack decided to put it outside with a sign reading “Free”.
Three days passed, and nobody laid a finger on the fridge. Jack found it quite puzzling, but he didn’t dwell on it. Instead, he decided to try another approach. He changed the sign to “$50”. That very night, when Jack went to check, the fridge was gone.
Jack could only chuckle at the thought. Perhaps someone had thought there might be a hidden treasure inside that old fridge. It seemed to him like a funny little lesson on how to turn something seemingly worthless into something valuable with just a change of a sign.
