In the other four stories, parents abuse their children and some even decide to get them out of the family home. But what they don’t realize is that things will eventually go back to the way they were. Fortunately, despite their mistreatment, all the children survived and are now under control.

The Reddit stories that follow should serve as a reminder to everyone that everything you do has an impact. Users on the platform wrote about how karma affected their lives after being mistreated by loved ones.

After being raised by his father in an abusive upbringing, he needs his son’s help.

A person who identified as Asian posted a story about “AITA” on Reddit in 2019. In his narrative about his upbringing, the man talked about how his father treated him as a child and often threw him out of the house.

Due to financial difficulties, the family was forced to live in a shabby townhouse in a bad part of town. The narrator’s father adhered to the prevailing stereotype of Asian fathers by being extremely demanding of his students’ academic performance.

The poster’s father’s original response was always the same: eviction if the OP got a grade below 70, skipped class, or disobeyed curfew. No matter how hard he tried or how much it rained or snowed, he always ended up outside with nothing but a sleeping bag.

This trend continued until OP was 16 when a friend showed him the courtesy of letting him stay the night. After being expelled each time, he eventually reformed, returned, and was allowed to re-enter the house. He would then reveal:

“[My father] kicked me out at 18 and I didn’t come home.”

He preferred to live with a friend and worked hard to pay for school. He never spoke to his father after that day. At the age of 29, he finally experienced marital happiness and the impending birth of a child.

At that time, the OP’s mother died a tragic event that resulted in a series of unexpected encounters. His father, weighed down by an old grudge, appeared at his son’s house in the midst of a mood of lamentation and introspection. It seemed to be an attempt to remedy the difficult upbringing that characterized OP’s early years.

Although OP’s dad had his fair share of misfortunes, persistent suspicion persisted despite initial appearances of sincerity. The problem was complicated by the fact that his convenience store had closed seven years early and his pension was deteriorating.

These stories serve as powerful reminders of the complexity of family dynamics and the lasting impact of abuse. Despite ongoing hardships and abuse, the children in these narratives not only survived but thrived and ultimately gained the upper hand in their lives. Their resilience and strength in the face of adversity show the power of the human spirit to overcome challenges and rise above difficult circumstances.

As karma comes full circle, the cards are turned for these individuals, offering lessons in forgiveness, resilience, and the potential for redemption. Ultimately, these stories highlight the importance of treating others with kindness, empathy, and compassion because every action has consequences that can be felt far into the future.
