Our wedding day is one of those keystone moments of our lives. It’s something that so many couples spend so much time preparing for, sometimes years in advance. These events typically require lots of planning, coordination, and cost. And then most of the traditional activities are rehearsed and choreographed, almost like a Broadway play. There are even vows couples may memorize to say to each other, and of course, the maid of honor and best man speeches that need to strike all the right notes.  And one position in a wedding often reserved for young children is being a flower girl. This position is a great responsibility as these little girls must carry the basket of flowers down the aisle while throwing pedals before the bride’s feet.

Best of all, little girls get to dress up and can feel like princesses from a fairy tale. While weddings can be high-pressure affairs, the job of a flower girl is relatively low-stress compared to some of the others, especially the bride. None the less, everyone gets to let off a bit of steam at the reception. Such was the case for one hard-working little girl who apparently had plenty of energy to spare after the wedding. And she used it by hitting the dance floor. By the end of her dance, she left the audience with a heartwarming memory they won’t soon forget.

The first song that played was “Baby” by Justin Bieber. And it seemed that this little girl was happy enough dancing all by herself. In fact, when a grown-up tried to join in, she wasn’t having any of it. When he finally moved out of the way, she was able to take the floor back over with her cute routine.

As she wiggled about the dance floor, the guests were laughing themselves silly, but it didn’t take long before she turned it up a notch.

The flower girl felt a shift in the mood when the DJ started playing the next song, and that’s when she really got fired up. As Baby faded out, the popular pop song Gangnam Style started playing over the speakers. And that song was definitely this little girl’s jam!

She perked up and started rocking out to the iconic tune like a seasoned pro. She was dancing with so much enthusiasm that her little satin bow flew off. But she didn’t seem to care as she kept on dancing her heart out.

The little girl knew that it was her time to shine, and she decided to pull out all the stops. Thankfully, many folks in the crowd pulled out their phones to record her incredible performance.

The guests cheered her on as she confidently danced to the beat, doing spins and jumps across the dance floor. It’s evident that she felt totally relaxed and was having a great time showing off her moves.

Her mom and dad were probably sitting back as proud as can be. And they should be proud because their daughter was fierce and fearless on the dance floor. Hopefully, they can foster this beautiful spirit even more as she grows older.
